Emergency accommodation

St Basils 'Emergency Accommodation' is also known as short stay or 'Direct Access' where a young person in housing crisis can stay for a few weeks (up to a maximum of 3 months) until we can assess the situation with them and then find the appropriate housing options for them.

We have two Direct Access hostels in Birmingham, Milner Court in Bordesley Green and Yardley House in Yardley. Click on the links below for more information.

Emergency and direct access

Milner Court Based in Bordesley Green, this scheme is for men and women aged 16 to 25. Staff cover is for 24 hours a day. Young people can stay for up to 3 months whilst their needs are assessed.
Yardley House Based in Yardley this project provides emergency accommodation for young men and women aged 16-25. Young people can stay for up to 3 months whilst their needs are assessed.
