Our property at Bordesley Green has recently been re-furbished and renamed Milner Court in honour of St Basils Founder Les Milner. We held the official opening in Spring 2008.
The accommodation. Milner Court comprises of 25 single rooms with each with en-suite shower facilility.
There's a tea room on each floor. Large ICT room, a training kitchen and laundry room. There is also disabled access to the ground floor.
We provide emergency accommodation for 25 single men age 16 to 25, for up to one month in what is a stable and caring environment. The housing support workers help the young men to prepare for independent living, together with personal and emotional development. The project is staffed 24 hours a day so there is always someone on hand to help with advice.
We establish a resettlement programme before moving on to independent accommodation. This support can be continued after moving on if needed.
