| A massive St Basils thank you to all those who took part in this years Big SleepOut and a special thank you to our sponsors and volunteers; without their support we could not run this event. The next Big SleepOut is on Friday 30th November 2012. (It's usually on the first Friday of December, but this seems to be clashing with other events so we've moved it) We will keep the Big SleepOut money totaliser updated regularly as the money comes in. On July 6th, Golden Hillock School will be holding their own special SleepOut in memory of Mr Chris Jordan, who passed away in January of this year. Chris, a teacher at Golden Hillock School, was a regular at the Big SleepOut and always made sure his pupils had a fun and an educational time at the event. He was a really great guy and will be sadly missed.
Bishop Vesey School in Sutton Coldfield held their own Satellite SleepOut in November and raised over £1000 for St Basils.
Organising your own Satellite SleepOut in Aid of St Basils
We are keen to establish a network of satellite SleepOut's or SleepIn's for next year, around the region all happening on the same night to see if we can set a record for the most people participating in the St Basils SleepOut Night (Friday 30th November 2012).
