Edgwood House provides accommodation for young people, aged 16-25. We can accommodate up to 31 young people. Young people can refer themselves to us, but many are referred by other professional organisations. We are staffed 24 hours a day.
The accommodation consists of self contained bedsits, with shared facilities such as bath/shower rooms, kitchen, lounge and training room.
Staffing consists of a manager, senior worker and six Housing and Support workers. There is also a Learning Skills and Work worker (LSW), a resettlement worker and we also provide a Family Mediation service.
On admission young people are assigned a keyworker, who empowers and assists the young person in preparation for moving on and residing in the community.
Activities arranged at Edgwood House range from video nights in-house to various external activities. Our motto reflects the aims of St Basils, 'We do not set up young people to fail'.

If you are homeless or working with someone who is about to become homeless, aged 16 to 25, and want to find out what accommodation is available contact us.
