We would like to congratulate and thank all 6 of our supporters who ran the London Marathon 2012 on 22nd of April to raise funds for St Basils. Philip Greenhalgh and Richard Burke who both work for Kraft Foods, Amanda Bowden who works for Ecorys, Eric Robathan, Jim Thomas and Dr. Emily Holden, who funded her own place. Between them they have already raised a phenonmenal £12,000.

Philip Greenhalgh (pictured) who has raised nearly seven times the sponsorship target said: "I always said that I’d do a marathon it was then a matter of seeking a charity that I am inspired by, and St Basils certainly fits the bill!! I’m thrilled with the donations that we have received to date, and hope they keep coming in.”
Lucy Hackett, Head of Fundraising said: "We would like to thank all our marathon runners; 26 miles is an incredible undertaking and they must have all trained very hard to have achieved such great times. We are very grateful for all their sterling efforts to gain sponsorship and raise so much to help young people in the locality".
Philip, Richard, Amanda, Eric and James all have Virgin Money Giving pages. There's still time to congratulate them on their epic achievements and show your support by sponsoring them.
Annually St Basils has 5 places available in the London Marathon. If you would like to take part next year and think you could raise at least £1000 for St Basils, please get in touch: fundraising@stbasils.org.uk
