A Big Thank you to Half Marathon Runners Supporting St Basils
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who took part in the Birmingham Half Marathon on Sunday 23rd October 2011 in order to raise funds for St Basils.
Four members of staff from the leading community regeneration specialist Frank Haslam Milan, based in Coleshill took part and have already raised over £500 which with Gift Aid will be nearly £700.

Katy Leverton, Head of Business Development at FHM, said: “We are very proud of everyone who took part in the marathon to support St Basils as it’s a fantastic charity which FHM has closely supported over the years.
“Every penny that’s donated will make a real difference to young people’s lives and we are very grateful for all the support that we’ve received so far.”
St Basils would also like to thank Alison White who completed the marathon in a time of 1 hour and 57 minutes and has raised at least £520, first time runner Jeff Jones who finished in 2 hours 11 minutes and has raised at least £477 and finally Eric Robathan who said he would donate £111 of his own money to St Basils if he finished this his second half marathon within 111 minutes (1 hour 51 minutes). He finished in a time of 1 hour 47 minutes so said he was 'happy to part with the money!'.
