Donation in memory of local supporter helps young mothers

A big thank you to the family of Jean Tunnadine who recently purchased a new computer for St Basils Supported Accommodation project Trentham House. The project, based in Acocks Green, provides intensive 24 hour support to young mothers to ensure they can cope with the demands of motherhood before moving on to other St Basils accommodation. Jean Tunnadine visited and supported Trentham House for many years providing much needed items for the young mums and their babies. Sadly Jean passed away last year and her family asked her friends to donate money to Trentham House in her memory. Thanks to this generous donation, Staff at Trentham house have been able to purchase a new computer for the residents which will be extremely useful for the young women when they are completing St Basils programme of Life Skills or other courses. A plaque has been erected at Trentham House in honour of the donation and in memory of Jean Tunnadine.
