Our London Marathon runners

This years London Flora Marathon saw 6 professionals from the West Midlands region pound the streets of London in aid of St Basils and the work we do to help prevent youth homelessness. On Friday BBC Radio WM's Phil Upton personally wished our 6 brave souls good luck and fine weather for their mega run.

All had good luck but the weather turned nasty at least twice and at one point there was even hail. The event went very well and as always the atmosphere was superb.

Pictured here are April Stoneman and Claire Cassidy who crossed the line together, finishing at 4hrs 45 minutes, both are specialist nurses working in Birmingham. Between them they have raised over £1,500.

The other runners were, Neil Millward from West Midlands Fire Service, Spencer Lamb and Gavin Evans from Network Rail and Lucy Wilson from Driver Jonas.
