St Basils young people and staff meet Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

20 lucky St Basils young people and staff attended as guests at Ozzy's recent concert at Birmingham NIA. After the show we were invited backstage to meet Ozzy and Sharon in person. We took the opportunity to say a very personal thank you for supporting us in this way and for a previous donation to St Basils.

Helen Ward, Housing Support Worker at St Basils, Trentham House, our mother and baby home was delighted at Ozzy's response: "WOW! It was really fantastic night and an honour to meet Ozzy in person. It was my opportunity to thank him for supporting us. It was phenomenal, and so nice to meet him. He was so interested when I told him about what we do at St Basils. He seemed to know about us and asked questions about all our other projects across Birmingham. It was so good to say thanks to him."

Thank you.
Would you please forward our thanks for a wonderful evening on Friday to Ozzy and his team, for providing tickets and taking time to meet with us – it was a fantastic experience for everyone. And a special thanks to Lyn for organising everything so well. Everybody was so accommodating and friendly and took a genuine interest in the work that St. Basils does - thank you so much. It would be great if someone from the team could come and see the work for themselves at sometime, or if we could forward updates of our progress to them. Once again – it was a fantastic night – a great treat. Many thanks, Anne Morton - John Lewis, Secondee at St Basils.
Thank you.
I would just like to say a big thank you for giving staff, resident’s and ex-resident’s of St Basils the opportunity to see Ozzy live in concert, and then have the added bonus of meeting him backstage for a chat. Since Friday our residents who attended have not stopped showing me photos taken on their mobiles and telling me what Ozzy said to them and the songs played (although I too have been as bad!). It has been for me sweet relief to hear a bit of rock around the Trentham instead of R ‘n’ B. It is lovely to know that someone with that much status continues to support St Basil’s. Thank you again so much and I wish you all well. Helen Ward (Trentham House, Mother and Baby home).
Thank you I am writting to you in order to thank you for the tickets to see Ozzy Osbourne at the NIA on the 6th july 200 and the following meeting with Ozzy. Unfortunately the pictures that were taken have not come out well. I have enclosed the one which is good.
On behalf of my friends and myself I would once again like to thank you for the excellent and memorable opportunity. Colin Morris, Staff, Beoley Court, Redditch. ENDS. For further information contact St Basils Press Office
