The National Youth Reference Group is a national scheme and a unique opportunity for young people to:

Advise on the development of homelessness strategies to prevent homelessness
Develop the local authority self appraisal toolkit to include a perspective on engaging young people and offering opportunities to participate
Develop a menu of services which could be offered to local authorities
Support and advise other young people around involvement
Advise on the development of homelessness strategies

The benfits of this project is that young people throughout the country can be involved. Some of St Basils young people will be a part of the reference group the rest of the group will be made up of young people from all over the country!
