The St Basils Walk 2010 will take place in the Cotswolds, starting and finishing from Chipping Campden School in Chipping Campden, on Saturday 5th June 2010.
There are 2 circular walks starting and finishing from the same point at Chipping Campden School. The shorter walk is about 14 miles, the longer walk is about 28 miles. Your team can start at any time between 7am and 9am on Saturday 5th June. Please note that any teams arriving after 9am will not be taking part in the walk.
Closing date for receipt of Team Registration forms is Friday 21st May.
Teams must consist of between 3 and 6 people. The fee for each team is £125. Each team receives a comprehensive walk guide, an Ordinance Survey section Map, an Evening Meal for each person and a Medal of Honour.
There are Marshal Points around the walking route and some of them will have emergency supplies of water, but we do urge all walkers to come prepared with water and provisions.
| Particular notes for the day: There is a large festival happening in Chipping Campden on Saturday 5th June and the main High Street will be closed to traffic from noon 4th to the evening of 5th. To get to the school car park approach Chipping Campden by the B4035 from either the north or the east. Breakfast (Full English) will stop being served at 8.50am. If you are pre ordering Bagettes (Ham, Cheese or Salad) please collect them from the canteen at the start. The evening meals are a choice of Vegetable Lasagne, Spaghetti Bolognese or Chicken Curry. |
