The role of a Corporate & Communities Fundraiser is raising charitable donations to help fund our homeless prevention services. Working as part of a team we do this by making compelling cases for support to Trusts and Foundations (through funding application processes), to local businesses, community groups and the general public. They also run a number of large scale public fundraising events and marketing campaigns.
We are looking for people who:
- Have experience of working in a customer focused environment including front line customer service experience
- Have experience of managing a case load and completing case work effectively
- Have knowledge of Housing Acts particularly Homelessness
- Have strong communication skills
- Have good planning and organising skills
- Are accurate and attentive to detail
- Are confident using Jigsaw and QL databases
- Are empathetic and able to deal with young people in a sensitive and appropriate manner in a demanding environment
- Have experience of applying the relevant legislation

We will provide all necessary support and training however the successful candidate will be required to evidence the following:
- Maths and English GCSE Grade C or above
- Experience of IT systems and an understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet
- Basic understanding of the concept of fundraising and the role of a Corporate and Community Fundraiser
