SALARY:

SCALE 6, POINTS 26 – 28, £21,937 - £23,405

HOURS:

37.5 HOURS (FULL TIME)

Job Purpose

The Supported Lodgings Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of the Supported Lodgings Schemes in Worcestershire and Warwickshire.

The Supported Lodgings Coordinator will have responsibility for providing a service to both hosts and young people, working to high standards and achieving positive outcomes.

The successful candidate should ideally have ability to:

  • Identify and implement best practice in delivery of service.
  • Understand the difference between friendship and support.
  • Advise young people on welfare rights and available resources and how to access them.
  • Plan and organise own work and assist young people in planning and organising.
  • Deal with challenging situations calmly and effectively, ensuring that risks are reduced, assistance sought when required and disruption is kept to a minimum.
  • Maintain accurate records, both written and electronic.
